Install the decorative trim for the leather sports steering wheel (SA255)

• Vehicles built before 03/2016:
• Bond the adhesive tape (1) to the trim.

  Contact between the trim and the vibration motor may lead to the "Contact detection" Check Control message!

• Check the detents (2) on the trim (1) for damage.

• Carefully clip in the decorative trim (1) at the detents (2).

• Insert the cables (1) into the cable clips (2).

• Connect connector (1).

• Tighten the screw (1) both sides of the rear of the steering wheel (2).

Follow-up work 

• If installed: install automatic transmission SHIFT PADDLE .
• Install the steering wheel or sports steering wheel AIRBAG UNIT .
• Reconnect all battery GROUND LEADS .
• ACTIVATE the 48 v electrical system.
