Removing the electric vacuum pump
NOTE:
DANGER High-voltage system. The high-voltage system operates on the basis of hazardous, electrical voltage and high currents. Mortal hazard through electric shock!

Preliminary work
- Remove the WHEEL .
- Remove the right front side UNDERSHIELD .
WARNING:
Vehicle may slip off the vehicle hoist if the vehicle hoist is handled incorrectly.

- Observe safety instructions on raising the vehicle using a vehicle hoist.

- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Unlock and detach snap fastener (2).
- Detach the vacuum line from the holders (3).
- Release the screws (1) and lower the electrical vacuum pump (2).
- Detach the vent hose (1) in the direction of the arrow.
- Removing the electrical vacuum pump.
- Remove the electrical vacuum pump (1) from the holder in the direction of the arrow.NOTE: The retaining ring may not be removed from the holder!
