Prepare for the installation of the brake booster

Check the retaining lugs of the holding clip (1) in the marked area (2) for damage and replace the holding clip where required.

In all the G2x vehicles with automatic transmission:
Before installing the new holding clip, press ball socket (1) into holding clip (2).

Ball socket (1) must engage perceptibly.

Replace the gasket (1) on the brake booster.

Thoroughly clean the sealing surfaces on the brake booster and on the firewall.
