Install the radial shaft seal

• Coat the housing of the sheet metal flange of the radial shaft seal with the APPROVED FINAL DRIVE transmission differential fluid..
• Strike the radial shaft seal with the special tool 0 495 860 (33 5 130) or 0 495 862 (33 5 140) until it reaches  the limit position.
• Remove the special tool 0 495 860 (33 5 130) or 0 495 862 (33 5140).

Follow-up Work 

• If reusing: check the left and right output shaft and replacing the SNAP RINGS .
• Install rear AXLE DIFFERENTIAL .
• Secure the rear axle differential left and right OUTPUT SHAFT .
• Check/top up rear axle differential OIL LEVEL .
• Secure the rear axle differential PROPELLER SHAFT .
• Install the rear HEAT SHIELD .
• Install EXHAUST SYSTEM .
• Install the left and right camber control arm COVER .
