Removing the rubber mount of the rear axle differential mounting

WARNING: Motor vehicle may slip off the vehicle hoist where components are supported.
Danger! Life-threatening injuries!

Secure the vehicle hoist against lowering and lifting.

Preliminary work

Remove the left and right camber control arm COVER .
Remove EXHAUST SYSTEM
Remove the rear HEAT SHIELD .
Release propeller shaft CENTER MOUNT .
Lower rear axle DIFFERENTIAL .

Pull out and remove the rubber mount with special tools 0 496 507 (33 0 031), 0 496 508 (33 0 032), 0 496 511 (33 0 035) and 0 496 512 (33 0 036) .
