If reusing: Check the output shaft and replace the snap rings

It is essential to replace the snap rings of the output shaft.

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Extreme force being required during installation is an indication that the component is damaged or deformed. Check component and replace if necessary.

Check the gearing of the output shaft for damage and replace damaged parts if necessary.
Check the dust plate (1) for damage and replace damaged parts as needed.
Replace the snap rings (3).

Coat the contact surface (2) using APPROVED FINAL DRIVE transmission differential fluid..
