Installing the output shaft
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The installation note for front gearing must be observed at all times.

- Replace the collar screw (1) and the compression spring (2).
Parts: Collar screw and compression spring
- Note installation position of compression spring (2).
- Keep the collar screw (1) and the front gearing of the wheel bearing and the output shaft clean and free of grease.
- Position the output shaft (1) on the wheel bearing from the center of the vehicle.
- Tie up output shaft (1).
Do not allow the output shaft (1) to hang on the joint.
- Hand-tighten the collar screw (1) with the compression spring.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
The front gearing of the wheel bearing and output shaft must be installed in an interlocking position (tooth-in-tooth). - Ensure positive locking by twisting the wheel bearing (1) and the output shaft (2) against each other.
- Press brake pedal.
- Tighten the collar screw.

Follow-up work
- Grease the WHEEL HUB
- Replace the left and right drive flange radial shaft SEALING RING .
- Install rear AXLE DIFFERENTIAL .
- Fasten the rear axle differential right and left OUTPUT SHAFTS .
- Check/top up the rear axle differential OIL LEVEL .
- Secure the rear axle differential PROPELLER SHAFT .
- Install the rear HEAT SHIELD .
- Install EXHAUST SYSTEM
- Install the left and right camber control arm COVER .
- Mount the WHEEL .
