Securing rear axle
NOTE:
Perform the operations on the left and right side.
- Position thrust washer (1)
on rear rubber mount of the rear axle support.
Left thrust washer (1) = arrow L in direction of travel
Right thrust washer (1) = arrow R in direction of travel
- Replace screw.

- Tighten down screw.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Rear axle carrier to body M14
Replace screw.Tightening torque 185 Nm Install compression strut
- Replace screws (1)
and (2)
.
Parts: Bolts
- Position compression strut (3) .
- Tighten down screws (1)
and (2)
by hand.
- Tighten down screw (2)
.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Rear axle carrier to body M14
Replace screw.Tightening torque 185 Nm - Tighten the screws (1)
.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Compression strut on body M10
Replace screws.Jointing torque 56 Nm Angle of rotation 45°
