Prepare New Part

Fit insulating material (1) on new part before painting.

Coat the side panel (1) before painting in this area (2) using sealant D1.
Paint side panel.

Unclip holder (1) from the damaged side panel. (Arrow)

Check
Check the holder for damage. (Arrow)
Check the lock (1) and guide for the headlight (2) for damage.

Result

» Holder (1) damaged.

Measure
Replace the holder (1).
Position and clip in the holder (1) on the new side panel. (Arrow).
Make sure that the detents engage correctly.

Disengage the detents (1) and remove the seal (2) from the damaged side panel.

Position the seal (2) on the new side panel.
Clip in seal only on the bottom detent (3).
Make sure that the detents (1) do not clip in.
