- Loosen screws (1).
The vapor recovery shut-off valve remains in the vehicle!
- Unlock and detach the snap fastener (1).
- Loosen nuts (1).
- Loosen hose clamp (1).
- Push the fuel filler pipe (2) in the direction of the fuel tank as far as it will go.
- Loosen the sealing lip (1) from the wheel arch.
- Open the fuel filler flap (2).
- Slide the screwdriver (1) into the recess and turn it by approximately 45°.
- Detach the fuel filler flap (2) in the direction of the arrow.
- Pierce the cover housing (1) in the highlighted areas (2) using a small screwdriver.
- Hold cover bowl under tension.
- Insert the screwdriver no more than 10 mm deep.
- Unlock the detents (6) in a sequence from (1) to (4) using a screwdriver (5).
- Turn and remove the cover housing from the side panel.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Close fuel filler flap.
- Remove the cover housing.
- Push the bellows (1) back.
- Unlock and detach the snap fastener (1).
- Remove fuel filler pipe.
