Installing the gate pair for the glass slide/tilt sunroof

• Attach the cover gate (1) to the gate and fold towards the rear.

• Move the drive carriage forward while feeding the lever (1) into the guide (2).

• Hold the lid gate (1) at the bolt (arrow) and move the drive carriage (2) to the vent position.

• Attach control lever to gate.

• Fold the control lever (1) towards the rear and insert it into the guide rail.

• Position the spacer (1) of the control lever in the guide rail.

• Move the gate (1) towards the rear.

• In this process, press down the lever (2) to ensure it correctly runs into the rail in this area (A).

• Move the gate (1) towards the rear until the recess for the limit position (2) is exposed.
• Insert the limit position (2).

• Move the gate to the vent position.
• Pull out the water channel and tighten the screw (1) on the left and right.

• Install roof FUNCTION CENTER (FZD).
• Install glass slide/tilt SUNROOF PANEL .
• Check the setting of the glass slide/tilt SUNROOF PANEL .
• Adjust glass slide/tilt SUNROOF PANEL .
• INITIALIZE glass slide/tilt sunroof
• Install the glass slide/tilt sunroof GAITER .
