Prepare New Part
- Coat the side panel (1) before painting in this area (2) using sealant D1.
- Paint side panel.
- Unclip the holder (1)
from the damaged side panel (arrows).
Check
- Check the holder for damage (arrows).
- Check the lock (1)
and guide for the headlight (2)
for damage.
Result
» Holder (1) damaged.
Measure
- Replace the holder (1) .
- Position and clip in the holder (1)
on the new side panel. (Arrow).
Make sure that the detents engage correctly.
- Disengage the detents (1)
and remove the seal (2)
from the damaged side panel.
- Position the seal (2) on the new side panel.
- Clip in seal only on the bottom detent (3) .
- Make sure that the detents (1)
do not clip in.
