Preliminary work
- Refer to DE-ENERGIZE THE HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .
- Refer to CHECK THAT NO VOLTAGE IS APPLIED .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CHARGING SOCKET FLAP .
- Refer to REMOVING THE WHEEL .
- Refer to REMOVE THE REAR SECTION OF THE FRONT WHEEL ARCH COVER FRONT .
- Guide the shaped part (1) out of the side panel.
- Turn the sealing ring (1) to the left up to the stop and remove.
- Unclip the cover housing (1) at the marked points from the inside.
Apply slight tension to the cover housing (1) while unclipping.
- Slide a long screwdriver into the gap between the side panel and the carrier support from the top.
- Unclip the clamp (1) from the inside.
- Unclip the cover housing (1) at the marked point from the inside.
- Unscrew the cover housing (1) a little from the side panel.
- Unlock plug connection (2) and disconnect.
- Unclip the charge status indicator (1) at the marked point and remove it.
- Remove the cover housing.
