SITUATION
There are no customer complaints associated with this issue.
The following control modules do not respond when diagnosing the vehicle with ISTA:
- Advanced Crash and Safety Management (ACSM)
- Digital Motor Electronics (DME)
- Dynamic Stability Control (DSC)
- Electric Active Roll Stabilization, Rear (EARSH)
- Electric Active Roll Stabilization, Front EARSV)
- Electrical Machine Electronics (EME)
- Electromechanical Power Steering (EPS)
- Integral Active Steering (HSR)
- Optional Equipment System (SAS)
- Vertical Dynamics Platform (VDP)
- Transfer Box (VTG)
CAUSE
Body Domain Controller (BDC) diagnostic communication error.
PROCEDURE
For conditions that are similar to the situation described:
- Submit a PuMA case with the title "BDC Flexray"
- Connect to the IRAP Next client immediately upon submitting the PuMA case, do not wait to be told to connect
- The IRAP specialist will respond when completed
- SI B09 02 16 includes further information on IRAP Next usage and functionality

Work time labor operation code 61 00 009 is not considered a Main labor operation. Also, since the "work time" FRU allowance to be claimed is specified, a separate punch time is not required.
