Adjusting toe-in on front axle

Camber and toe-in influence each other. Adjust the toe-in first in order to simplify the adjustment procedure. The camber is exclusively adjusted by exchanging the upper wishbone. There are various wishbones for this purpose (+/-30').

Before every toe adjustment and after replacing the electromechanical steering gear (EPS), a commissioning (initialization) of the electromechanical steering gear (EPS) must be performed.

Preliminary work
- Commission (initialization) of the ELECTROMECHANICAL STEERING .
- Move the steering wheel to the STRAIGHT-AHEAD POSITION (center position)
- Slacken screw (1).
- Clean thread on tie rod.
Twist the tie rod (1), if applicable counter the tie rod end (2) to adjust the toe-in to the setpoint value.
- Tighten down screw (1).
