Remove door lock of the front passenger door

Prerequisite 

• Door, window glass is closed.

Preliminary works 

• DEACTIVATE the 48 v electrical system.
• Remove the mirror triangle COVER .
• Remove the exterior MIRROR .
• Remove the door handle COVER .
• Remove front door TRIM PANEL .
• Remove the front door WEATHER STRIP .
• Remove the front door MODULE CARRIER .

• Version with Automatic Soft Close system: 

Unlock and disconnect the plug connection on the Automatic Soft Close drive (1).

Undo Automatic Soft Close drive (1) from the door.

• Unclip locking rod (1).
• Disconnect the plug connection on the inside from the door lock (3).
• Unclip the wiring harness from the door lock (3) on the inside.
• Loosen screws (2) and (4).
• Guide out door lock (3).

• Detach the Bowden cable (1).
• Detach the Bowden cable nipple (2).
