Remove lock barrel lock barrel

Prerequisite 

• Door, window glass is closed.

Preliminary works 

• DEACTIVATE the 48 v electrical system.
• Remove the mirror triangle COVER .
• Remove the exterior MIRROR .
• Remove the door handle COVER .
• Remove front door TRIM PANEL .
• Remove the front door WEATHER STRIP .
• Remove the front door MODULE CARRIER .
• Remove the front outside DOOR HANDLE .
• Remove the outer door HANDLE SUPPORT .

• Undo the cover (1) in the indicated areas (2).
• Remove the cover (1).

• Detach the locking rod (1).
• Twist the lock barrel (2) in clockwise direction and remove it.
