Adjusting rear lid lock

Lever out the covers (1) on the marked recesses (arrows) with a screwdriver and remove them.
Loosen screws (2) until the tailgate lock can be moved.

Check the gap dimensions between the tailgate and bumper panel.

» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.

Measure

Adjust tailgate lock.

Tighten the screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Tailgate lock to body
M8x20 screw	Tightening torque	19 Nm
