Removing rear door window glass

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary works

Prerequisite

The door window glass is fully shut.

NOTE: Schematic diagram is for example purposes. Some parts may differ in certain details.

Secure the door window glass to the door frame when it is closed using adhesive tape.
Spread the holder (1) on the door window glass with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) (2) and unlock.
Move the power window all the way down.
Remove the adhesive tape and take out the door window glass to the top.
