Removing the rear window frame trim

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary works

Prerequisite

The fixed side window glass must be completely open.

Loosen the rubber window seal (1) at the top of the window frame trim (2).
Loosen and remove the window frame trim (2) using special tool 2 298 505 from the clamps (3).
