Punching contour for button for pressurized tank release into door trim panel
- Place special tool 2 444 973 on the dashed line on the door trim panel.
- Transfer switch contour and the bore holes (1) and (2) from the special tool 2 444 973 to the door trim panel.
- The contours must be transferred precisely.
- Pre-drill bore holes (1) and (2) with small drill of the special tool 2 444 402 .
- The bore holes must be drilled precisely.
- Drill out medium bore hole (1) with the large drill of the special tool 2 444 402
.
- Disassemble special tool 2 444 402 .
- Thread in lower section (1) of the special tool 2 444 402 from rear into the door trim panel.
- Put together special tool 2 444 402 as shown.
- Align special tool 2 444 402 with the marks and compress by turning the nut (2) in the clockwise direction.
- Loosen the nut (2) after having cut through the door trim panel.
- Remove special tool 2 444 402 .
- Press out the punching residue from the special tool 2 444 402 using the pressing-off tool.
