Install the lower oil pan section

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Clean all threaded belt connections with micro-encapsulated outer and internal threads.
Shavings or other debris must not remain in the components.
If a microencapsulated screw is reused, it must be coated with the following screw locking agent: Loctite 243, medium strength .
The screw connection must be completed within 10 minutes as hardening begins after this period.

Clean the sealing surface in the area of (1) with the special tool 0 495 102 (11 4 470) .

Remove the seal (1).
Clean sealing surfaces with special tool 0 495 102 (11 4 470) .
Replace the seal (1).
Parts : Gasket
Position the seal (1) on the lower oil pan section (2).

Position the lower oil pan section.
Replace screws.
Parts : Screws

Tighten the screws in this area (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Lower oil pan section to upper oil pan section
M8 Replace screws.	Tightening torque	27 Nm

Connect connectors (2) and lock.
Attach the cable clip (1).
