• Apply adhesive tape (1) according to dimensions A  to C  .

  Center adhesive tape (1) corresponds to the center of the tailgate.

  Adhesive tapes (1) cannot be located on the bonding surfaces of the rear spoiler.

• Mark the dimensions B  and C  on the adhesive tapes (1):

  Dimension A  =310 mm

  Dimension B  =367 mm

  Dimension C  =365 mm

• Check the rear spoiler.

  Do not install rear spoilers with poor fitting accuracy.

  A rear spoiler loosely placed on the tailgate must not protrude, especially at the corners.

• Transfer the mid-centering (1) via adhesive tape to the outer side of the rear spoiler.
• Place the rear spoiler (3) on the tailgate and align to the adhesive tape.

  Check if the rear spoiler (3) is centrally seated on the tailgate.

• Clean the bonding surface on the tailgate with R2 solvent cleaner.
• Pull off the liner (protective film for bonding surface) (2), align the rear spoiler (3) as shown in the overview graphic and bond to the tailgate.

  Press down with force on the rear spoiler (3) using the hands over the entire area, in particular at the edges.

• Remove the adhesive tape.
