Installing the seal for the tailgate

• Remove remnants of the sealant from the sheet metal flange.
• Clean the sheet metal flange.
• Replace the tailgate seal (1).

  Parts:  Seal for the tailgate

• Mount the tailgate seal (1) beginning from the top center.

  Make sure that sealing joint (2) is at indicated position.

• Make sure that the tailgate seal (1) is positioned correctly against adjacent trim panel components.

Follow-up Work 

• Install the rear left and right water channel TRIM PANEL .
