Adjusting The Rear Door On The Left

Open the rear door.
Slacken the screws (1) until the rear door can be moved.
Adjust the rear door height (Z).
Adjust the rear door width (Y).

Check

Check the gap dimensions between the rear door and adjacent body components.

Result

» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.

Measure

Adjust the rear door.
Tighten the screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Rear door to door hinge
M8 screw	Tightening torque 19 Nm

Adjust the closing wedge

Prerequisite

Screws on the closing wedge are loosened so far that the closing wedge can be moved.

Adjust the height of the locking wedge so that the door lock does not hit or rub.
Shift the closing wedge sideways to adjust the gap dimension ? between the door and the side panel at the rear.
Tighten screws (1).

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Lock striker
Screw	Tightening torque 21 Nm
