Adjusting Rear Lid Lock

• Lever out the covers (1) at the recesses (arrows) with a screwdriver and remove them.
• Loosen screws (2) until the tailgate lock can be moved.
• Adjusting tailgate lock.

Check 

• Check the gap dimensions (arrows) between the tailgate and bumper panel.

Result 

» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.

Measure

• Adjust tailgate catch.
• Tighten the screws (1).

Tightening torques 

• Clip in the covers (2).
