Removing the mechanism for the thigh support

Prerequisite 

• Thigh support is adjusted fully forwards.

Preliminary works 

• Remove front SEAT .
• Remove front seat outer COVER .
• Remove seat adjustment OPERATING UNIT .
• Remove the front seat outer cover SUPPORT .
• Remove front seat inner COVER .
• Remove the front seat cushion seat COVER

• Carefully unclip handle (1) of the thigh support in the marked area.

• Carefully unclip and remove handle (1) of the thigh support in the marked area from mechanism (2) for the thigh support.

• Loosen the latch mechanisms (1).
• Release the latch mechanisms (2) with the standard tool.

  Standard tool:  Hexagon socket wrench 3 mm

• Remove mechanism (3) for the upper thigh support.

• Unclip latch mechanisms (1) of mechanism (2) for the lower thigh support from seat frame (4). At the same time, move mechanism (2) for the lower thigh support in the direction of the arrow until attachment points (3) are in the marked area.

• Guide out and remove mechanism (1) for the thigh support from seat frame (2).

Removing the mechanism for lower thigh support with drivetrain 

• Loosen screws (1).
• Release connector (2).
• Remove the mechanism for lower thigh support with drivetrain (3).
