Remove the rear illuminated sill trim
NOTE:
Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.
Preliminary works
- Remove front entrance COVER STRIP .
- Remove rear entrance COVER STRIP .
- Remove the upper b-pillar TRIM PANEL .
- Remove the lower b-pillar TRIM PANEL .
- Push the carpet in the area of the bottom B-pillar to the side a little and disconnect the plug connection (1).
- Detach the edge protection in the area of the rear sill trim (1).
- Lever the rear sill trim (1) out with the special tool 0 496 569 (00 9 325) from the clips (2) to the top.
- Feed out the cable and remove the rear sill trim (1).
