Removing the right spindle drive
CAUTION:
Shutting bonnet or tailgate.

- Support bonnet/tailgate in fully open position with the aid of a suitable device.
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to the spindle drive.
If the tailgate is not opened completely, the spindle drive may be damaged.

- Remove and install the spindle drive only when the Tailgate is open to the maximum extent.
Preliminary works
- Remove the luggage compartment floor TRIM PANEL .
- Remove the loading EDGE TRIM .
- Partially remove the right luggage compartment wheel arch TRIM PANEL .
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Observe the disassembly sequence:
- Push on the clamp in the direction of the groove with the screwdriver.
- Lift off the ball socket from the ball pin.
- Push back the clamp.
- Pull off the ball socket from the ball pin.
- Remove spindle drive (2).
