When replacing the drive for backrest upper section adjustment: Remount transmission for backrest upper section adjustment

• Unclip the cover (1) towards the inside.
• Pull the shaft (2) in direction of arrow out of the transmission.
• Release the nut (3) and remove washer.

• Pull out the clamp (1).
• Remove the transmission for the backrest upper section adjustment (2).

• Turn spindle (3) until dimension (A) of the new drive for backrest upper section adjustment (1) has been adjusted on the transmission for backrest upper section adjustment (2).

• Insert the transmission for the backrest upper section adjustment (1).
• Secure the bolt (2) with the clamp (3).

• Insert nut (3) with the washer and tighten.

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Drive/transmission for backrest upper section adjustment to backrest frame
Tightening torque
Nut M5	5.5 Nm

• Insert the shaft (2) in direction of arrow into the transmission for backrest upper section adjustment.
• Clip in the cover (1).
