BMW CONNECTED DRIVE SERVICE COCKPIT

TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN

SITUATION

The ConnectedDrive Service Cockpit was developed by BMW to provide quick access to ConnectedDrive services and respond to customer queries to identify potential problems accessing these services.

By using the tool an increase in customer satisfaction is achieved through quicker and more precise feedback to the customer.

The ConnectedDrive Service Cockpit will allow the user to:

• Perform troubleshooting/diagnosis (quick check) in the event of a specific question concerning ConnectedDrive Services
• Quick identification of the registration process, contract status and duration
• Change of Service Partner (Servicing Dealer information)
• Quick check of active services; can eliminate unnecessary service visits by the customer

HOW TO ACCESS THE SERVICE COCKPIT

The ConnectedDrive Service Cockpit can be accessed either via DCS Net

• The (1) "Vehicle services" tab provides an overview of services available for the vehicle
• (2) "Product" correspond to option codes (e.g., Remote Services = 6AP, Intelligent Emergency Call = 6AC)
• (3) "Services" are the individual services included within that option
• Under the (4) Details tab, it is possible to view the start and end date of the customer's contract for that particular Product.
• Additionally, the last time a Service was used is shown under the (5) "Activation date:"
• In the Vehicle/customer Details there is now a NEW section to change the (6) "BMW Center Name" You can now change the registered BMW Center associated with the vehicle.
• The (7) "Bookable services" tab is reserved for future use and will include information about services which are available for purchase via the My BMW ConnectedDrive portal www.bmwusa.com/MyBMWConnectedDrive
