MODEL

SITUATION

Upon visual inspection, the passenger side upper active air flaps are either stuck open or closed, and they will not move.

There are no faults stored  for the active air flaps.

CAUSE

The pin used to attach the upper active air flap actuator has detached from the linkage.

CORRECTION

Install an updated actuator linkage pin.

PROCEDURE

Refer to ISTA/AIR repair instructions REP 51 74 702 "Installing the retaining pin for linkage of the air flap control at the top".
