SITUATION
CC message: "Coolant level too low!" appears in the display.
CAUSE
The cooling system wasn't efficiently bled during the factory fill.
CORRECTION
Check the cooling system for leaks and repair and refill as necessary.
PROCEDURE
- Follow ISTA Repair Instruction RA 17 00 009 Check coolant circuit for water tightness
(attached).
Were any coolant leaks discovered in the engine compartment?
YES - repair the leaks. Go to step 2.
NO - Go to step 3.
- Refill and bleed the cooling system.
- With a cold engine, fill the expansion tank to the full mark.
