CRACKING NOISE FROM DASHBOARD TRIM

SITUATION
A cracking noise is present from the area of the dashboard trim when heating or cooling the vehicle.
CAUSE
Thermal expansion of the plastic components of the decorative trim causes cracking noises.
CORRECTION
Lubricate multiple points of contact on the decorative trim.
PROCEDURE
Refer to attachment "B51 24 19 Repair instruction decor strip of the instrument panel attachment 1".
