HUMMING/RUMBLING NOISES AFTER OPENING THE DOOR

SITUATION

After waking up/unlocking and entering the vehicle, may cause a humming/rumbling noise to occur. See attached video https://tinyurl.com/V340319 Noise occurs about the 6 second mark

CAUSE

The movement monitoring of the electromechanical parking brake (EMF) responds too sensitively.

CORRECTION

Replace both wheel speed sensor on the rear axle as per repair instruction REP34 52 535

00 67 771	7 FRU	Replace both wheel speed sensors (on the rear axle) (Plus work)

If you are using a Main labor code for another repair, use the Plus code labor operation 00 67 771 instead of 00 67 200.
