INFORMATION

In today's workshops and mobile services, there's an ever-increasing focus on a clean, premium, and ecologically friendly work environment (new photo below) and customer experience. Due to BMW Group's dedication and commitment to health, sustainability and the environment, we are proud to introduce the Clean Oil Service System to our centers.

The predominant benefits of the Clean Oil Service System for the workshop and the customer are as follows:

Environmentally conscious
- Less waste due to less rags, paper towels and spray cans
- Less engine oil pollution after disposal
- Less toxins/CFC's in the air due to less chemicals used
Healthier technician environment
- Technicians are exposed less to engine oil and cleaners - via direct contact or airborne toxins
Chemical cost reduction
- Parts/Brake cleaner and floor cleaner
Safer work environment
- Less slips and falls from oil on the floor
- Less risk of burns from hot engine oil
Increased labor efficiency
- Less likely to have contamination/spillage
- Less time cleaning up contamination/spillage

- Greatly reduced risk of engine oil drippage after the vehicle service

The Clean Oil Service System drain plug tools survey closed on May 15th and the results are being reviewed. Updates will be provided in this bulletin in the coming weeks.

Clean Oil Change Pump Kit:

Pump assembly with hose
Cap torque wrench
Clean oil drain tool

Crank Case Vacuum Regulator:

Used to install the Clean Oil Service drain plug without draining the engine oil.

With bayonet (pre-2018) and twist lock (post-2018) cylinder head cover fill cap adaptors.

Tools and Equipment Not Sent Via Automatic Tool Shipment:

Part numbers will be made available in the coming weeks.

Clean Oil Service Drain Plugs:

12 mm x 1.5 drain plug 1 bag of 10
18 mm x 1.5 drain plug 1 bag of 10
14 mm x 1.5 drain plug. The 14 mm x 1.5 is a service part for damaged 12 mm drain plug threads and will only be available via a single part number.

S68T and N20 plastic oil pan Clean Oil Service drain plug application is still in development.

Clean Oil Caddy:

Mobile service portable caddy on wheels.

Order as needed for your mobile service needs.

Pump assembly kit not included.

Replacement Tools and Service Parts:

Part numbers will be made available in the coming weeks.

Clean Oil Torque Wrench:

Tightens the drain plug protection cap to 1.8 Nm (15 in-lb.).

Clean Oil Drain Tool:

Connects the clean oil hose kit to the drain plug.

Clean Oil Hose Kit:

Connects the pump to the clean oil service drain plug.

Clean Oil Drain Plug Protection Cap:

Protects clean oil service drain plug valve mechanism from road debris.

Clean Oil Drain Plug Protection O-Ring Kit:

Installed on the drain plug itself, provides a seal between the drain plug protection cap and the drain plug.

1 bag of 10.

CLAIM INFORMATION

The special tool limited warranty for the Clean Oil Service System is administered by AGA Tools and Products . The limited warranty period for the parts/tools themselves is 12 months from the date of purchase.
