• Release bonded rivet connections in the areas (1) and (2).

• Release the spot-welded adhesive joints in area (1).

• Mark severance cut (1) according to schematic diagram and disconnect.
• Remove engine mount and wheel arch (2).

• Open welded connections in area (1).
• Unscrew the self-tapping screws and bonded connection in area (2).
• Remove reinforcement (3).

• (1) Mark severance cut () as pictured and cut. Detach the engine mount in sections.
• Unscrew the self-tapping screw and bonded connection in the area (2).
• Loosen the bonded rivet connections in the areas (3) partially with the belt sander.

• Unscrew the self-tapping screws and bonded connections in the areas (1). Remove the engine mount (2).
