Preparing New Part

- Carry out the severance cuts on the new parts according to the severance cut on the vehicle.
- Remove unnecessary components from new part.
- Prepare the upper area of the new B-pillar reinforcement for joining by plug-welding. To do so, make (1) 6x15 mm elongated holes with a cut-off grinder.
- Prepare the lower area of the new B-pillar reinforcement for joining by plug-welding. To do so, make 6x15 mm elongated holes (1) with a cut-off grinder.
- Adjust the new B-pillar inner section and B-pillar reinforcement using an alignment bracket or universal fixture and secure in place.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION

- Prepare the body in the areas (2) for plug-welding.
- In areas (3) prepare 2 x 15 cm long MAG weld seams.
- Prepare the body in the lower area of the B-pillar reinforcement for plug-welding (1).
- In the areas (2), prepare 6x15 mm long MAG weld seams.
- Prepare the new parts in the areas (1) for joining by welding.
- Prepare the new parts in the areas (1) for joining by welding.
- Prepare the new part in area (1) for joining by welding.
- Mark out and make separating cuts on the new B-pillar outer skin in accordance with the separating cuts on the vehicle.NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
