NOTE:
Perform the steps on the left and right side.
- Mark off the areas (1) according to the dimensions of 15 x 20 millimeters and disconnect.
- If necessary, increase size of bores (1) by a maximum of 10 mm in diameter.
- Adjust the tail panel (1) in combination with tailgate and tail lights and secure.
- Areas (1) to (3): Set diameter of bores to 4.2 mm for blind rivet.
Area Number 1 3 2 3 3 3 4 2 5 1 - Install the support (3). Join the screw (1).
- Prepare the support (3) in the areas (2) for joining by welding.
- Prepare the new part and the vehicle in the areas (1) for joining by means of MAG weld.
- Remove new parts and deburr bores.
