Adjusting Tailgate

Prerequisite 

• The tailgate must be provided with all attachment parts for correct adjustment.

Preliminary work 

• Refer to REMOVE THE TAILGATE LIFT SWITCH .
• Refer to REMOVE TAILGATE TRIM PANEL .

• Undo screws (1) until the tailgate can be moved.

Check 

• Check the gap dimensions (arrows) between tailgate and side panels.

Result 

» Gap dimensions do not correspond to the specifications.

Measure

• Adjust tailgate.

• Tighten the screws (1).
