Remove Carrier Support

Further information is available.

• Release the self-tapping screws in the areas (1).

• Heat and release the bonded connection in the areas (1).

  Do not damage the aluminum engine mount in the process!

• Open welded connections in areas (1) and (2).

• Release the rivet connectors in the area (3). Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!
• Release the bonded connections in the areas (2) and (3). Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!
• Release welded connections in areas (1).
• Release the rivet connectors in the area (2). Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!
• Heat and release the bonded connections in the areas (1) and (2). Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!
• Release the carrier support from the cavity sealing (3) and remove.

• Remove cavity sealing (1).
• Release the rivet connectors in the areas (2). Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!
• Heat and release the bonded connections in the areas (2). Do not damage the aluminum shock tower!
• Remove the carrier support.
