Prepare the swivel bearings for installation

Loosen spherical-collar screws (1) with the special tool 2 472 903 .
Remove wheel bearing (2) from previous swivel bearing (3) .
Recut the threads in the wheel bearing (2) .
Position the wheel bearing (2) on the new swivel bearing (3) .
Replace the spherical-collar screws (1) .

Tighten spherical-collar screws (1) with the special tool 2 472 903 .

TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

Wheel bearing to swivel bearing
M12 Replace spherical collar screws. Tighten the spherical-collar screws in crosswise sequence. The tightening sequence must strictly be followed and carried out on all spherical-collar screws at the same time!	Tightening torque 20 Nm Initial torque 140 Nm Unscrew all bolts. max. 45° Tightening torque 120 Nm Angle of rotation 90°

With right installation: Remount the damper weight at the swivel bearing

Loosen screw (1) .
Remove the damper weight (2) from the current swivel bearing.
Position the damper weight (2) at the new swivel bearing.
Replace the screw (1) .
Parts: screw
Tighten down screw (1) .
