Securing rear axle
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Position thrust washer (1) on rear rubber mount of the rear axle support.
Thrust washer (1) left = arrow L in direction of travel
Thrust washer (1) right = arrow R in direction of travel
- Replace screw.
Parts: Screw
- Tighten down screw.TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Rear axle carrier to body M14
Replace screw.Tightening torque 185 Nm Install thrust arm
- Replace screws (1) and (2).
Parts: screw
- Position thrust arm (3).
- Tighten down screws (1) and (2) hand force.
- Tighten down screw (2).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Rear axle carrier to body M14
Replace screw.Tightening torque 185 Nm - Tighten the screws (1).TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
Thrust arm on body M10
Replace screws.Joining torque 56 Nm Angle of rotation 45°
