Securing rear axle

• Position thrust washer (1) on rear rubber mount of the rear axle support.

  Thrust washer (1) left = arrow L in direction of travel

  Thrust washer (1) right = arrow R in direction of travel

• Replace screw.

  Parts:  Screw

• Tighten down screw.

  Rear axle carrier to body
  M14 Replace screw.	Tightening torque	185 Nm

  Install thrust arm 

• Replace screws (1) and (2).

  Parts:  screw

• Position thrust arm (3).
• Tighten down screws (1) and (2) hand force.
• Tighten down screw (2).

  M14 Replace screw.	Tightening torque	185 Nm

• Tighten the screws (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Thrust arm on body
  M10 Replace screws.	Joining torque	56 Nm
  	Angle of rotation	45°

Follow-up work 

• If installed: secure CABLE .
• If installed: connect the CABLE .
• Secure right and left CABLES .
• Connect the rear ride height sensor CONNECTOR .
• Secure the rear axle differential PROPELLER SHAFT .
• Install the rear HEAT SHIELD .
• If installed: install the torsion struts MOUNTING BLOCK .
• Install the EXHAUST SYSTEM .
• Install the left and right camber control arm COVER .
• Install tank COVER .
• Install left and right rear WHEEL .
