Removing the wheel carrier

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Perform wheel alignment after installation.

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Preliminary work

Remove rear left or right WHEEL .
Loosen the wheel bearing OUTPUT SHAFT .
Remove the camber control arm COVER .
Release the rear BRAKE CALIPER .
Release the wheel carrier track CONTROL ARM
Release the wheel carrier wheel SPEED SENSOR
Release the wheel carrier trailing arm camber CONTROL ARM .
Release the wheel carrier control arm SPRING STRUT .
Remove both rear BRAKE DISCS

NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION
Secure component against falling.

Unfasten nut (2) .
Pull out bolt (3) .
Remove the wheel carrier (1) .
