Installing the wheel bearing

• Clean the contact surfaces (2) of the wheel bearing (1) and swivel bearing.

  The contact surfaces must be clean and free from grease.

• Position the wheel bearing (1) on the wheel carrier.

• Replace the spherical-collar bolts (1).

  Parts:  Spherical-collar bolt

• Tighten the spherical-collar bolts (1) with the special tool 2 472 903  .
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  Wheel bearing to wheel carrier
  M12 Replace spherical collar screws. Tighten the spherical-collar bolts crosswise.  Tightening sequence must be strictly adhered to and carried out on all spherical-collar bolts at the same time!	Tightening torque	20 Nm
  	Initial torque	140 Nm
  	Unscrew all bolts.	max. 45°
  	Tightening torque	120 Nm
  	Angle of rotation	90°

Follow-up Work 

• Install the rear BRAKE DISC
• Secure rear BRAKE CALIPER .
• Secure the wheel bearing OUTPUT SHAFT .
• Install the cover of the camber CONTROL ARM .
• Mount the WHEEL .
