Removing the flexible disc for the front prop shaft
Preliminary work
- Remove rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
- Remove the UNDERBODY PLANKING of the transmission on the side
- Remove transmission CROSS-MEMBER .
- Detach the PROP SHAFT from the transmission.
NOTE:
TECHNICAL INFORMATION
To protect universal joints, tie back prop shaft in area of central mount.

For all-wheel drive vehicles from the 5 Series and 7 Series, the aluminum flexible discs have been eliminated and replaced with elastic flexible discs made of rubber as of production date 09/2015.

- Release the screws (arrows) and remove the flexible disc (1) from the prop shaft.
