Installing the lid of the high-voltage battery unit

• Connect high-voltage cable (1).

  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
  The seal must be replaced every time the upper housing section is opened to guarantee the tightness of the high-voltage battery unit.
• Replace gasket (1).

• Position lid (1) and screw down.
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION

  M6x18 Replace screws.	Tightening torque	13 Nm

  Repair solution in the case of a faulty thread (M6) 

  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
  If a bolt is not tightened to the specified torque or the thread is damaged, replace this thread.
  A minimum of two threads must be undamaged.
  If all threads are damaged, replace the housing.
• Drill out the damaged thread to 7.5 mm.

  Exclusively drill out the threads when the upper housing section has been positioned to prevent shavings from penetrating the inside of the housing.

• Remove shavings using a vacuum cleaner.
• Screw in the thin-wall thread insert using the special tool 2 359 049  until slightly recessed by approximately 0.2 mm.
• Secure the upper housing section with the bolt.
