Remove the convenience charging electronics (KLE)

• All work on the high-voltage system may only be carried out by specially trained and technically experienced personnel.

Preliminary work 

• Remove right flap in luggage compartment TRIM PANEL .
• DE-ENERGIZE The high-voltage system.
• CHECK that no voltage is applied.
• Disconnect all battery GROUND LEADS .
• Remove the front UNDERBODY PROTECTION/FRONT THRUST FIELD .
• Remove rear UNDERBODY PROTECTION .
• DRAIN the coolant from the low-temperature cooling system

• Unlock the connector from the signal line (1) and disconnect.
• Unclip the signal line (1).

• Unlock and disconnect the high-voltage connector (1).
• Unlock and disconnect the high-voltage connector (2).
• Unlock and disconnect the high-voltage connector (3).
• Unlock and disconnect the high-voltage connector (4).
• Carefully raise the clamps (1) from the coolant connections.

» Do not pull the coolant connections off at this time!

• Connect the special tools 2 336 647  to all high-voltage connections.
• Prepare the collecting vessel for the coolant.
• Disconnect the coolant line (1).
• Disconnect the coolant line (2).

• Unfasten nut (1).
• Remove the convenience charging electronics (KLE) (2).
