Remove cover housing

Preliminary works
- Remove the luggage compartment floor TRIM PANEL .
- Remove the loading EDGE TRIM .
- Partially remove the right luggage compartment wheel arch trim PANEL .
- Remove the fuel filler FLAP .
- Remove the rear right WHEEL .
- Remove right rear wheel arch COVER .
- Partially remove the FUEL FILLER PIPE .

After repair work, clean the working area thoroughly with water.
Clean special tools with water after every use.

- Loosen the sealing lip (1) from the wheel arch.
- Pierce the cover housing (1) in the highlighted areas (2) using a small screwdriver.
- Hold cover bowl under tension.
- Insert the screwdriver no more than 10 mm deep.
- Unlock the latch mechanisms (6) in a sequence from (1) to (4) using a screwdriver (5).
- Turn and remove the cover housing from the side panel.
- Unlock plug connection (1) and disconnect.
- Close fuel filler flap.
- Remove the cover housing.
